The Blonde Fiber is the natural Tussah silk color. Once dyed the fibers shrink and "wrinkle" a bit. So there is a difference in the texture of the dyed fibers. The "wrinkles" can be easily steamed out. These fibers are hand-dyed so have a natural variegation. Dye lots will vary. If you have never worked with silk fiber for your miniature doll coiffures...it really is a joy! *The Black color is is not a pure black...it has touches of very dk brown and very dk auburn, but mostly black.
